The Neighborhood
Shea is where it all started — our first shop, opened May 2008 — and it's still where everything is made. Every batch of ice cream at every Sweet Republic location comes out of the kitchen right here: the caramel stirred by hand, the brownies baked from scratch, the fruit peeled and chopped for sorbets. If you're eating Sweet Republic anywhere in the Valley, it was born on Shea Boulevard.
That makes this the shop closest to the source — some flavors land in this case before they make it anywhere else. Tucked into the shopping center near the 101, it's the spot for families coming from soccer practice and anyone who doesn't want to drive downtown for a great scoop.
Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot. Right off the 101 freeway at Shea Blvd.
